Google has been experimenting continuously in fighting the Kovid-19 epidemic. In such a situation, now this company is going to add a feature of the ‘COVID layer’ Naya in Google Map. Google says that with the help of this feature, users will know the status of Kovid-19 in the area in which they are traveling or going to go somewhere. That is it will know how many cases of COVID in that area.
However, Google has not yet given a fixed date for the release of this feature. Google has given information about this feature by tweeting. I believe it that a new update of Google Map can be available for Android and iOS users this week.
This is how the Covid layer feature will work
Google has said in its blog post that when the user opens the map on Google Map, then he will get the COVID-19 info feature in the layer button. As soon as we go to this feature, this map will change according to the position of Kovid. It will show an average of seven recent cases per 100,000 people in the area and show whether cases are increasing or decreasing.
Google will also add color-coding features to it which will help users break the destiny of recent cases in one area. Trading map data will show the country level of all 220 countries and regions that support Google Maps. Also, data is available at its state or province, county, and city level.
Google will collect data from various sources of Kovid-19 cases in a particular area, including Johns Hopkins, the New York Times, and Wikipedia. These sources will receive data from public health organizations such as the World Health Organization, government health ministries, state and local health agencies, and hospitals.
